App Crashed in MacBook, Then It Won't Open Anymore

I've been using Working Hours for two months. No subscription yet.
Yesterday the app crashed.
When I ty to open it it just does not start.
Un-installing and re-installing, done. But no changes.

WorkingHours version: 2.9.42
OS + version: Big Sur
Device model: MacBook Air M1 2020

MacOS should show a dialog with some crash report - can you send me that crash report please (ideally via mail - workinghoursapp@outlook.com)?
Do you have any anti-virus apps running on your Mac? I've heard from instances where they delete files of WorkingHours causing it to crash

Sure thing! I'll send it right now (it is very, very long).
Nope, I don't have any anti-virus apps running.
I would be very grateful if you could help me because if the information I had in the app is lost, then I'm in trouble: I won't be able to send any invoices for the last two months. As a freelancer, I work for hours and was happily using the app, nothing else.

Thanks! I asked you some follow-up questions via mail.
You have already stated that you uninstalled the app, which inevitably would delete the local data. If you used the Cloud Sync (which is what the app recommends doing every 30 days) then you can simply restore that data from the Cloud.

From all I can tell (crash reports + 2 reporters) this only happens on macOS 11. Unfortunately I don't have a macOS 11 machine any more and I also couldn't extract much useful information from the stack trace. I will add some more error logging with v2.9.45 (which I will release very soon), hoping I can get more information with that - otherwise I will likely just drop macOS 11 support. I think Apple will drop MacOS 11 support very soon as well

Silly question: if OP has timemachine backups, would those have saved the local database? Might help them recover the hours they need for their invoices.
(Being a consultant myself, I dearly relate)

I don't know how timemachine backups are stored and if you can directly navigate their folder/file structure. If it is, then you could recover the database from this path:

~/Library/Containers/mac.partl.workinghours/Data

In theory yes, timemachine allows browsing of the archive for individual files and folders:
