Multiple hourly rates per task (onsite vs. remote)

I am working for different customers (=different tasks) and have an onsite and remote hourly rate. It would be great if I could define for the same customer (task) 2 different hourly rates which can be defined when starting the task.

At the moment I'm using two tags documenting if I was working onsite or remote.
Using two different tasks for one customer would be another workaround but makes things complicated at the end of the month when creating the invoice.

How would you expect such a feature to be implemented? At some point you have to choose between "onsite" and "remote". Using tags for this is what I would have suggested

When initially creating the task, you can define an onsite and remote rate (one of them is default).
Later when the task has been started with the default rate, you can edit this task and you have an additional drop-down-menu between "task start" (Arbeitsbeginn) and "earning" (Verdienst) where you could change the rate if needed.
Then the earning will be recalculated with the currently active rate.

Thanks for the suggestion.
To be totally honest, I am unsure if this additional complexity & UI elements would be worth the benefit of not having to create two different tasks or tags. I think only a small amount of users would be using this
