Hi, i really love the app but is it possible to trigger the start button when a certain calendar event has started? The description of the app says calendar integration works both ways so i really hope so, id might consider getting the pro version.

No, this is currently not possible.
The "both ways" text in the app description is for the Windows app only and means that WorkingHours reads appointments from the system calendar and writes the times worked into the system calendar
