I'd like to be able to have or assign Keyboard Shortcuts to start a specific task type.
If the task types are included in the Menu Bar options on a Mac, I can use System Settings to assign custom keyboard shortcuts, but they're not there either. If I have Keyboard Shortcuts, I can also leverage Apple Shortcuts and my Elgato Stream Deck.
Example
Tasks (shortcut)
- Default Task (Ctrl+Cmd+S)
- Inbox Requests (Ctrl+Cmd+1)
- Leadership Meeting (Ctrl+Cmd+2)
- Training (Ctrl+Cmd+3)
Then my workflow could be:
Ctrl+Cmd+1 to start Inbox Requests work, Ctrl+Cmd+X to end that work when it's done, Ctrl+Cmd+2 to start Leadership Meeting work.
